The new Panasonic KX-NS1000 is a new 2U rack-mountable, wall-mountable, desk-mountable or shelf mountable Class-A SIP Communications Server / PBX.
The KX-NS1000 is truly unique in that is can act as a stand-alone SIP Server, an Enterprise SIP Server Farm with up to 16 locations and "One-Look" Extension Dialing across Gateways. It can also be configured as an adjunct to a new or existing Panasonic NCP or TDE series PBX where greater amounts of non-SIP, digital and/or analog Trunks and/or Extensions are needed.
The KX-NS1000 system can be affordably configured large or small. The basic system compares in price with lesser Class B, Class C and D systems. Expansion is primarily done by applying Activation Keys, which are uploaded by a Panasonic NS-Certified Dealer. Natively, this system uses SIP Trunks and SIP Extensions with the ability to add a few Loop Start Analog Trunks and Stations for backup.

KX-NS1000 IP PBX systems are sold only through a network Panasonic Certified Dealers. In order to operate, the KX-NS1000 system must be registered. This requires activation keys that can only be provided by a Panasonic Certified Dealer in good standing. Only dealers that have successfully completed the KX-NS Technical Training course; have a valid KX-NCP certification number and meet the yearly purchase requirements outlined by Panasonic can activate these systems. It is important to know that due to the many options available, the system must be sold in a Zero by Zero configuration. Accessory cards are not included with the KX-NS1000 and must be added as needed.
